a weekend in Uraguay

We also made a quick getaway into Uraguay. Not much to say, except more meat, wine, street art, colonial buildings and a great bar called Baar Fun Fun!

the national dish is called 'chivito'- a plate piled high with fries, a cut of meat (either beef or chicken), a fried egg, then garnished with green beans, potato salad and broccoli

our hostel was located right on the main square. Here are the views from our balcony:




The other town we went to in Uraguay was Colonia, a quaint ville that was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site for its colonial architecture and tree lined streets
